FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT – (Part Time – 26 Hours/week) COAST FRASER TOWER, YELLOWKNIFE, NWT Coast Hotels is a dynamic and growing brand. The Food & Beverage Attendant will provide support, superior customer service and uphold quality standards for Coast Fraser Tower’s food & beverage operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Handles duties that are routine and straightforward such as clearing and setting tables, and setting up food and beverage items for the continental breakfast service and dinner service Assists with setting and servicing meeting rooms as needed Adheres to Coast Hotels standards when completing tasks Ensures the safety and security of the property, the Ambassadors and guests when completing tasks Stocks supplies and maintains inventory levels Acts as an Ambassador for Coast Hotels including greeting guests, making them feel welcome, and handling basic inquiries Demonstrates a customer service attitude with internal and external contacts Other duties as required Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Industry-specific certifications such as FOODSAFE Hepatitis A vaccination Professional appearance and attitude Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently Ability to multi-task High attention to detail Bondable Demonstrates the Coast Core Values at all times Secondary school diploma preferred Strong time management and organizational skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training an asset Must be bondable and have a clear police clearance, Background check is required upon hire Must successfully complete pre-employment Fitness to Work testing
