Description Effective 01 November, 2011 - If you have previously purchased CCStudio TI Microcontroller v4 and are ready to purchase a Subscription Renewal, please find your REPLACEMENT part number listed below. See more info for MCU users. Annual Subscription is an additional benefit available to Code Composer Studio™ (CCStudio) Integrated Development Environment (IDE) users. Having a valid subscription gives you access to free major CCStudio upgrades when they are released. Minor updates are provided regardless of your subscription status.
Features Annual Subscription When you purchase CCStudio it includes 12 months of subscription service. The subscription period begins the moment you activate your license. Users with valid subscription will receive notifications when major new upgrades are released (such as v5, v6…) and will be able to at no additional cost. Free versions of CCStudio do not include a subscription service. Subscription Renewal You may add additional time to your initial 12-month subscription period by purchasing a Subscription Renewal. The existing subscription does not have to be lapsed in order to renew; an additional 12 months will be added beyond your expiration date. Your subscription expiration date is based on the date you activated your CCStudio product in myRegistered Software portal. If you have already purchased and activated CCStudio, you can view your expiration date by going to www.ti.com/myregisteredsoftware. You will be notified via email when your subscription is about to expire. The email will contain the Subscription Renewal part number necessary for your original product. You can also find your correct Renewal part number by going to www.ti.com/myregisteredsoftware and finding your CCSSUB. Click Manage. Click Renew Subscription. Your Renewal part number must match your product license (ie: N01D or F01, etc). If you order your Subscription renewal via the TI eStore you will receive an e-mail from
[email protected] containing Subscription Renewal Activation ID. If you order your Subscription renewal via a TI Distributor, a physical activation card will be shipped to you. Note: If you are ordering your subscription via a TI authorized Distributor see the part numbers listed below; they vary slightly from the part number provided in your notification. When you receive your activation card or email you must enter the Activation ID at www.ti.com/myregisteredsoftware in order to extend your subscription by 12 months. CCStudio v4 MCU users Subscription is no longer available for purchase for CCStudio MCU v4. If you have already purchased CCStudio v4 for TI MICROCONTROLLERS, and have a valid subscription: You will receive an upgraded copy of TMDSCCS-ALL v5 at no cost to you. This product supports all TI embedded processor families (except C24x/F24x). During November and early December, watch for an email from
[email protected]. You will receive the equivalent CCStudio license that you purchased for v4 (ie: N01D, N01, F03, etc.). If you have already purchased CCStudio v4 for TI MICROCONTROLLERS and have an expired subscription: You can renew your subscription by purchasing your appropriate RENEWAL part number. See below to find your new RENEWAL part number. Purchase and activate. About a week after renewing your subscription, you will receive an upgraded copy of TMDSCCSALL v5. Watch for an email from
[email protected]. You will receive the equivalent CCStudio license that you purchased for v4 (ie: N01D, N01, F03, etc.). CCStudio IDE v3 or older Subscription is no longer available for purchase for CCStudio v3. If your subscription has expired and you wish to upgrade to a newer version of CCStudio then it is necessary to purchase a new CCStudio v5 license. Available Versions Code Composer Studio IDE Subscriptions come with the purchase of any CCStudio license option. A renewal must match the license type (N01D, F03, etc.) of the CCStudio product. Effective 01 November, 2011 - Previously, TI Microcontroller users had the option to purchase separate part numbers. “MCU” part numbers are NO LONGER SOLD. Note that the "ALL" Renewal part numbers will replace the previous MCU Renewals, and can be used to extend existing MCU subscriptions by 12 months. A valid subscription ensures an MCU user of receiving a free "ALL" copy of CCStudio v5 when it is available. For F24x/C24x support, go to CCStudio v3
