55
We have collaborated on papers and research in the philosophy of medicine, medical ethics and epistemological foundations of clinical practice. The interchange has been rich, the experience mutually rewarding, and the resultant products substantive. It is our feeling that such interdisciplinary success came from an understanding of the history, nature, structures and format for the collaboration. A clear delineation and continuous reexamination of the expectations, roles, and responsibilities of the parties has obviated the need for and fear of stereotypes.
ERRATA
In Volume 7, Number 2, Fall/Winter 1986 of The Journal of Medical Humanities and Bioethics this article "Response: Collaborations Between Physicians and Humanists-Beyond the Metaphors" by Raphael Sassower and Michael A. Grodin was printed with the deletion of several lines. These lines have been restored in the preceding reprint. Human Sciences Press apologizes for the error.
