Correspondence Comment on “Implementation of a Web-Based Educational Tool for Digital Signal Processing Teaching Using the Technological Acceptance Model” Ezzat G. Bakhoum, Member, IEEE There are some serious errors contained in [1] as follows: 1) On page 633, the acronym “PHP” is defined as “PERL Hypertext Preprocessor.” This definition is incorrect. The acronym stands for “Pre-Hypertext Processor.” PHP is a scripting language that actually competes with the PERL language. 2) On page 636, the manuscript states that the well-known digital signal processing acronyms “FIR” and “IIR” stand for “finite infrared” and “infinite infrared,” respectively. These definitions are grossly incorrect. The acronyms stand for “finite impulse response” and “infinite impulse response,” respectively.

Authors’ Reply Sergio L. Toral Marín, Member, IEEE, Federico J. Barrero García, Senior Member, IEEE, Rocío Martínez Torres, Sergio Gallardo Vázquez, and Antonio Javier Lillo Moreno The authors of [1] accept the corrections. The definition of the acronyms did not appear in the original paper. However, we have seen that they appeared in the corrected proof but were not highlighted. We apologize for any disturbance our mistake may have produced.
