This represents an opportunity to innovate and transform services, realise savings and efficiencies and deliver better outcomes for citizens. Capita’s 5th National Community Budgets Conference is perfectly timed to explore the new radical plans for community budgets drawing on the lessons learnt from the 16 community budget pilots for families with complex needs. With the intention to expand this approach to all areas by 2013 and to apply the principles to other high-cost priorities, it is essential for stakeholders involved in strategic partnership working from across the public sector to get to grips with this new model of service delivery.
