Mission Statement Uplift's mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower each student to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace and that inspire in students a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service in order to positively change their world. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY The Community Engagement and Enrollment Coordinator (CEEC) is responsible for assisting families with navigating the application and enrollment process; overseeing the campus admissions and enrollment process; and collaborating with the academic team to plan and implement activities that engage families and the community around school priorities and specific academic and social needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Application & Lottery Process: The following responsibilities occur in tandem with the CMO Admissions and Enrollment Office to ensure integrity of database Serves as the point person for application questions from the parent community and the campus staff, maintaining a basic knowledge of application and lottery rules as they pertain to a specific campus (i.e. zip code preferences) Monitors campus specific application process thru infosnap, implementing recruitment strategies as directed by CMO Admissions and Enrollment when necessary Continually manages the school’s lottery wait list within the infosnap database for communication to inquiring parents Leads campus re-enrollment efforts collaborating with campus leadership to ensure network deadline is met; collaborates with RTC to ensure availability of students to assist parents with online re-enrollment and community events Coordinators PACs under the guidance of the Operations Managers/Directors to ensure successful execution of information sessions and PACs, including scheduling, logistics, technology assistance and content Schedules online enrollment assistance sessions for family community and is available to answer parent questions Recruitment and Family Engagement: Coordinates family engagement activities for school year and summer months (including newly admitted students) Manages compliance reporting including annual completion of parent needs assessment and maintaining documentation of Title 1 program activities, including minutes, agendas and meeting announcements Collaborates with campus leadership to ensure family and community activities are planned that foster community and support school priorities, including VIP program

Schedules Parent University planning meetings with campus leadership, and in partnership with district coordinator utilizing the ParentU toolkit to organize and delegate event logistics Manages campus parent volunteer opportunities including translation coordination and event planning Identifies and recruits parent leaders for advocacy/civic engagement Maintains working inventory of community assets to support recruitment and enrollment efforts and to connect the family community to community resources Publishing and distribution of campus newsletter

Demonstrated ability to proactively manage multiple, critical deadlines Detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful Excellent planning and logistic skills EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent, with Associate’s Degree preferred 2-3 years experience in education Successful experience in Parent Communication and Parent Engagement Previous Uplift campus experience preferred COMMUNICATION SKILLS Demonstrated ability to conduct training and informational sessions for internal and public audience Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, discreet and respectful manner COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and particularly Microsoft Excel. Must have ability and willingness to learn new software applications (infosnap, etc.) required or desired in connection with job responsibilities. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
