Configuring Microsoft Office 365 for Time Matters Exchange Synchronization
Before You Begin Check your computer and ensure that the following are true: n Microsoft Outlook is configured with your Office 365 mail account information. n Time Matters is installed. n The Time Matters Exchange Synchronization Server is installed.
Get Email Server Name To view your email server name, do the following: 1. Sign in to your Office 365 mail account using Outlook Web Access. 2. Click Options > See All Options > Account > My Account > Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access. The server name appears like this:
3. Make a note of the server name. You will need to enter it when you configure Time Matters Exchange Synchronization.
Configuring Microsoft Office 365 for Time Matters Exchange Synchronization
Configure Time Matters Exchange Synchronization To set up Exchange Synchronization, do the following: 1. On the Windows Start menu, go to All Programs > LexisNexis > Time Matters (version) Exchange Sync Configuration. The Exchange Synchronization Configuration wizard opens. 2. In the Server Name box, type the server name you located previously.
3. Click Next. Then click Next again to skip the Import Previous Synchronization Data page of the wizard. 4. On the next three pages of the wizard, set options for synchronizing Contacts, Events, and ToDo's. 5. On the Users Included in the Synchronization page of the wizard, click Add. 6. Enter your user information and click Test Connection.
7. Click OK. Then click Next to continue to the final page of the wizard. 8. Click Finish.
