When you find yourself jobless, homeless, fighting over ownership
of discarded aluminum cans, and suffering from a broken neck, it may be well past time you had a chat with the Almighty.
Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch’s series of best-
selling books about his spiritual journey, is a now a movie, the first
feature film from Spiritual Cinema Circle. Spiritual Cinema Circle is a
project of the film’s director/producer Stephen Simon. Simon started the project as a service to audiences that were desirous of movies about spirituality. The movie, Conversations with God, relates Walsch’s story as
adapted to the large screen. Destitute, Walsch began writing an angry, imaginary letter to God, asking questions about why his life wasn't
working. When God unexpectedly answered his queries, Walsch’s life as a spiritual herald soon followed. Director/producer Stephen Simon is known for films such as
Somewhere in Time and What Dreams May Come. He and Walsch worked together on Indigo, a movie about children endowed with special
psychological and spiritual abilities. Simon acknowledges that
Conversations with God is meant meant to elicit profound emotional cartharses.
