Coaches can set down in the centre of the Village in Main Street and then park in the Rugby Club car park – contact the Tourist Information Centre for further details. Parking for coaches is available at Tynedale Rugby Club in Corbridge. The rugby ground is on the south side of the river Tyne. From the north, go over the bridge and bear left onto the B6529. After 300yds bear left onto Station Road and follow to the end where the club entrance is on your left.
Things to Do Corbridge is a historic village dating back to Roman times and has the Corbridge Roman Town English Heritage site on its outskirts with direct coach access. Heritage Trail Guides are available from the TIC and can give added value to a walk around this picturesque village. St Andrew’s Church is in the market place and dates back to the 7th Century when it was built, in part, using stones from Hadrian’s Wall.
