About the role Our Corporate Actions team has developed a range of global campaigns designed to secure public commitments from the world’s most influential companies to increase renewable energy, energy productivity and the electrification of corporate mobility. In addition, highprofile activity is underway to support the scale-up of LED lighting. Central to the success of these activities is a highly professional approach to cultivation, recruitment and management of corporate campaign members and partners. We are seeking an experienced relationship manager to play a pro-active role in driving cultivation and recruitment activity, and ensuring an effective co-ordination of this work across our campaigns and international offices. The post holder will work with other members of the Corporate Actions team to ensure that all relationship management activities are conducted to a high level of professionalism and are fully reflective of our mission and values. The post holder will also contribute to general campaign development and related deliverables. The role involves close working relationships with all members of the Corporate Actions team, our States & Regions, Communications, and Fundraising teams, as well as with colleagues in our China, India, and US offices. Occasional regional and international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities: The primary focus of the role is to be proactive in working with the Heads of Corporate Actions and other relevant staff in our UK and international offices in the following areas: -

Establishing a systematic approach to developing a pipeline of potential corporate members and partners to engage in Corporate Actions or our other activities as required. Working in close collaboration with the Heads of Corporate Actions, initiating and progressing contact with relevant companies to recruit them to corporate campaigns or our other activities as required. Responding to inbound enquiries regarding membership of our corporate campaigns, and liaising with Heads of Corporate Actions as appropriate. Coordinating the participation of our corporate campaigns in priority climate and energy events being hosted by external organisations. Liaising with campaign teams and our international offices to coordinate relationship management for the members of our corporate campaigns. Holding lead relationship management responsibilities for certain member and partner contacts. Monitoring the delivery of Corporate Action member and partner benefits and paid for service. Collating feedback from Corporate Action members and partners. Developing productive connections with our States & Regions actions where appropriate, and contributing to our strategy for major Summits. Contributing to regular stakeholder engagement progress reports and other matters as required. Driving the implementation and use of our contacts management system. Working closely with our communications and events teams to co-ordinate the content and timing of communications to our existing and target members. Representing The Climate Group at events and meetings as required. Management of staff or interns based in the London office as required.

About you Essential: Understanding of energy and climate policy context and its relevance to corporate strategy Evidence of ability to develop and maintain new and existing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders In-depth experience of cultivating and managing key relationships with global corporates Ability to multi-task and work under pressures to strict timelines and budgets Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Proactive and able to work independently and unsupervised on specific project tasks Ability and willingness to contribute as a team player

Evidence of ability to work in an international organization, coordinating work across geographies, cultures and time zones

Desirable: Experience working in emerging markets Fluency in another language Experience with grant writing and proposals Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce

Location You will be based in our London Head Office, in County Hall, which is a five-minute walk from Waterloo station.

Terms and conditions This post is permanent and full-time. We offer a salary of £33,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience. In addition, the role holder will benefit from: -
