WELCOME TO OUR CLUB
AFC Fylde are the fastest growing football team on the Fylde Coast with meteoric success both on and off the pitch. The 2016-17 season marks the beginning of a new era at AFC Fylde. We have moved into the state-of-the-art new ground at Mill Farm – our very own Theatre of Dreams – and we want you to be part of the journey! PAST In 2008, to embrace the greater football community, the club changed its name from Kirkham and Wesham to become AFC Fylde. This change was made in order to further the club’s ambition to develop and grow throughout the region and ultimately become an established member of The Football League by 2022. PRESENT The Coasters suffered heartbreak in the play-off final last season and start the forthcoming National League North campaign as one of the clear favourites for promotion. Fylde have enjoyed many highlights over the past 12 months, including an FA Cup first round trip to Millwall, an FA Trophy last 16 matchup against Gateshead and received many plaudits throughout the season. Manager Dave Challinor has strengthened his side with flair and experience over the course of the summer and the Coasters head into the new season looking to go one better this time around. FUTURE Fylde realised a dream this summer as they moved into their multi-million pound new stadium – a real statement of intent from the club’s chairman. The decision has also been made to switch to full-time football as the Coasters aim to continue their rapid rise up the football pyramid. Mill Farm, located just a quarter of a mile from Junction 3 of the M55, boasts a unique sports bar, a mediterranean restaurant, conference facilities and 12 3G sports pitches. So why not become part of the journey...

The 31 acre leisure and retail development is to the north of Kirkham and just a minute from Junction 3 of the M55. The sports focused development is anchored by our new 6,000 capacity stadium, along with associated external sports 3G pitches that will see hockey and rugby also played competitively on the site. The associated commercial development will include an Aldi food store, a new 100,000 sq ft distribution centre for Trilanco, one of the UK’s leading wholesalers, a Kentucky Fried Chicken Drive Thru and a Eurogarages petrol filling station with an associated convenience store. The wide range of sporting, educational and leisure facilities will place the development at the very heart of the local community and maximise footfall.
