Make and Add a Favicon or Site Icon to Your WordPress Site From Tech Gramma 1. In PicMonkey, create a 512 x 512 pixel image. You can use your logo or something that matches your site or brand. It is okay to make it bigger and crop it down in WordPress, but I recommend making it the exact size to start with. 2. If you have WordPress 4.3 or newer: Sign in to your WordPress Dashboard Go to Appearance, Customize Click on Site Identity Click on Select Image, Navigate to your saved image and upload it If you’re image was larger than 512 x 512, you’ll have a chance to crop it. Otherwise, it will just load. Be sure to click Save and Publish 3. If you have WordPress 4.2 or older: Download the plugin, Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator Go to Appearance, Favicon Choose Select from the Media Library and upload your image Click Generate Favicon After it loads, scroll to the bottom and click Generate Your Favicons and HTML Code
