Creating a Google Web Designer creative with clickTag   GWD version: 1.1.2.0814. Shell 1.0.5    To get clickTag on a button in a GWD creative you need to do the following:    ● Create a new file as 'Environment: DoubleClick’    ● Get all the Creative elements in place.    ● Go to 'Components' and drag 'Tap Area' onto the stage.

Go to 'Properties' and position the ‘Tap Area’ as required on the Creative. You can have multiple  ‘Tap Areas’.

Select the actual ‘Tap Area’, go to ‘Events’, select ‘Selection’ and click the + symbol to add an  event to the selection.

Select the Tap Area name.

  Select ‘Touch/Click’ from the ‘Tap Area’ section.

Select ‘Exit’ from the ‘Google ad’ section.

  Select ‘gwd­ad

Then enter ‘clickTag’ in the ‘Metrics ID’ field, and any URL (​ DCM will override this URL​ ).

  Save.    Publish as a ZIP file.    Import into DCM. DCM will recognise the clickTag.
