Creative Web Developer Why are we recruiting? Due to expansion Arise are looking for a creative front-end web developer to join our growing team of web experts.

About the role We’re looking for a full-time employee (though we’re open to part-time if you happen to be just the right candidate). The role is Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (with some flexibility), and you’d be based at our office in S7.

Requirements We need a creative web developer who can take a flat design and bring it to life. Not only coding up the front end using the latest HTML, CSS and Jquery techniques, but creating beautiful experiences and taking time to add a touch of magic to every project.
The right candidate must have a strong eye for design and an unstoppable attention to detail. A basic knowledge of PHP and some commercial experience will be appreciated too. The right person must be able to communicate well, manage projects, tasks and time, and most importantly, be a friendly, motivated and fun person.
The best candidate will be experienced building sites to a design using the following technologies...
1. HTML (5) 2. CSS (3) 3. Responsive layouts / Media queries 4. Javascript/Jquery 5. Some PHP
Experience in the following is not required but will stand you in good stead...
1. Design experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite 2. Laravel or any PHP/MVC frameworks 3. MySQL 4. Bootstrap (especially the grid) 5. Online marketing 6. Sales, marketing or business development 7. Experience with SVN, GIT or other code versioning systems
What would you be doing day-to-day? ● Working as part of a team, and working with clients, to build websites to a design,
gather content, code it all up ● Applying creative skills, making design tweaks and adding extra sparkle to websites ● Testing and fixing display issues across a range of browsers and devices ● Maintaining, supporting and tweaking existing websites where needed
