Steps to Success •
Schedule your study 7me
– A three earned credit hour (ECH) course is expected to meet in class for approximately three hours a week. – The student is expected to spend 6me outside the classroom working on the course assignments and studying. For each classroom contact hour the student should spend 2 hours outside the classroom.
3 mee6ng hours in class (ECH)
x 2 study hours outside of class 6 hours addi6onal study 6me outside of class + 3 classroom hours 9 hours of study a week for a 16 week course (recommended)
– For an 8 week course the effort must be doubled since you are comple6ng the same course work in half the 6me. – Therefore, it is recommended that you schedule at approximately 18 hours a week to study and complete your course work in this class. This amount of 6me may vary on the students study skills and familiarity with the subject.
