CAREER AND EDUCATION SPECIALIST – BRIDGES TO EMPLOYMENT Under the general supervision of the Employment Services Supervisor, provides direct and indirect employment and educational coaching at Lifeline’s Vista Office. Services are provided in a culturally sensitive manner that is consistent with Lifeline’s philosophy and mission. Bachelor’s Degree plus two years relevant experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy required. Current California Driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Full-time, exempt position. $16.00 per hour plus bilingual compensation, if applicable. Fully paid benefit package provided in accordance with the Personnel Policy Manual. EOE. AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AIDE The After School Program Aide works under the supervision of the After School Program Supervisor with lead responsibility of the After School Program Site Leader. The Program Aide works closely with the After School Program Site Leader and with school, parents and community representatives to develop and implement a safe after-school program, offering academics, skill development, health education and recreation. Must acquire CPR and first aid certifications. Must complete criminal background clearance, drug test, TB test and other employment related reference checks. Exhibits well-developed problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of child development issues. Experience and ability in group facilitation and supervision. Strong familiarity with teen-related program activities. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Part-time, non-exempt position. 15-19 hours weekly, $11.35 per hour. Primary hours are between 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. Must be available some evenings and/or Saturdays as needed for extended programs and/or training. Bilingual compensation available. Bachelor’s Degree in social work, child development, psychology or equivalent field. Experience working with at-risk youth and families, in social services and/or 1 year of previous case management. CAT-WINGS BILINGUAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE SPECIALIAST Under the supervision of the CAT/WINGS Supervisor, the Bilingual Substance Abuse Specialist for the Lifeline North Coastal Community Assessment Team is responsible for the coordination of youth assessments, home visits, prevention activities, referrals and agency activities for youth identified as having substance abuse issues. This position develops and implements a community-based adolescent substance abuse prevention and treatment program. This includes intake, screening, assessment, case management, providing AOD training and specialized education on a variety of topics, treatment planning, discharge and continuing care planning, records management, and participation in quality assurance. The essential role includes individual substance abuse treatment, in-service training to Lifeline staff, community education, screening for and facilitation of prevention and intervention support groups for youth from high risk environments, and participation in community awareness campaigns. The professional is expected to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team, while making appropriate independent decisions for the benefit of the client(s). The clinician works in a culturally sensitive manner and abides by the legal and ethical standards of the profession. Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or human services plus two years related experience or equivalent. Must currently possess or be in the process of obtaining licensure in an accredited professional substance abuse counselor program (i.e. CADAC, CAAR, LAADC, etc.). Full-time exempt position, 40 hours weekly. $16.60 per hour, not including bilingual compensation. Fully paid benefit package provided in accordance with the Personnel Policy Manual. EOE. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICAL SUPERVISOR Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Clinical Director, is responsible for managing the daily clinical activities of the Behavioral Health (mental health and substance abuse) EPSDT programs. Provides clinical oversight of staff, interns, and trainee’s within the Behavioral Health department. Assist Program Supervisor with intake and assignment, eligibility screening. Provides oversight of assessment, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring, rehabilitation, case management services, utilization management and quality assurance. Oversees, coordinates, develops, and evaluates the programs overall effectiveness to ensure its consistency with the agency’s purpose, approach, policies and procedures, compliance with Medi-Cal requirements, contractual requirements and overall adherence of San Diego’s System of Care Principles, utilizing evidenced based practices as the preferred teaching modality. Ensures that legal and ethical standards are upheld by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the core values and mission of North County Lifeline. The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Program Supervisor with all delivery of program services. Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology. State-licensed LCSW, LMFT and completion of required Clinical Supervision, training, and direct services management required. A minimum of two Page 2 of 4

years post-graduate experience is required with a strong background in supervision, training, direct services and management. Full-time exempt position. Salary commensurate with experience. CLINICAL DIRECTOR Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director of Programs is responsible for the quality assurance and clinical supervision of staff and interns within the agency’s internship program, as well as, overseeing select Lifeline programs and contracts. Supervises, coordinates, develops and evaluates all aspects of the program to assure consistency with Medi-Cal, North County Lifeline’s purpose and approach, its compliance with agency policies, procedures, contract requirements and the ethical and legal standards upheld by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the core values and mission of North County Lifeline. The Clinical Director works closely with the Program Directors with all delivery of program services. The Clinical Director is also part of the Senior Management Team. Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology or social work required. Licensed in California as LMFT, LCSW or Licensed Psychologist. A minimum of two years post-graduate experience is required with a strong background in clinical mental health and clinical supervision. Full-time exempt position.
