ELA/ELD Framework
The ELA/ELD Framework Planning Committee met on June 16 to discuss possible next steps to support framework implementation. Three main ideas emerged: 1. Investigate the possibility of an annual “all frameworks” conference, 2. Continue to build supporting resources (identify specific areas of interest/audiences), and 3. Connect/network professional learning communities. In a follow up survey, almost all participants (county offices of education, WestEd, CDE, writers/roll-out presenters) continue to be supportive and want to be involved in future activities.
