February 26, 2018 Re: California Wine Fair Sponsorship Opportunities Dear Madam or Sir, In 2000, Safe Haven Foundation opened the doors to Haven’s Way™ the first ever Homes and program of its kind. Haven’s Way™ duplicates that of a loving and supportive family environment, providing girls with a Safe Haven at which to heal and work through their issues, complete their education and learn valuable life skills that will allow them to become self-sufficient, contributing members of our society. Safe Haven Foundation also delivers Therapeutic Recreation and Scholarship Programs, allowing girls to pursue their passions and build self-esteem, and the opportunity to attend the accredited postsecondary institution of their choosing; further entrenching them in the community. Safe Haven Foundation is pleased to announce that we have been selected as this year’s charity partner for Calgary’s annual California Wine Fair, an all-inclusive, exclusive, walk around wine-tasting experience. It is our hope that this will become a long-term partnership and that the California Wine Fair will become Safe Haven Foundation’s Signature spring event. We are expecting over 600 guests and there will be over 90 Vintners in attendance. The California Wine Fair is the perfect opportunity to enjoy fine wine and company while giving back and strengthening our community. The Event: California Wine Fair The California Wine Fair is put on by the Wine Institute of California, representing the interests of thousands of California Vintners and is held across North America. In each city, the Wine Institute partners with a local charity that takes on the responsibility of marketing and selling tickets for the event, both the selection and cost of the menu, and putting together the silent auction. All proceeds generated through ticket sales, Sponsorships and silent auction go directly to Safe Haven Foundation once event costs have been covered. We are expecting 600 guests at this year’s California Wine Fair. The event is being marketed as a high-class affair, to high profile, affluent Calgarians, as a place to see and be seen, with most ticket sales resulting from personal invitations from volunteers and our Honorary Co-Chairs Bernie Bayer of Taurus Property Group and Susan Carter of Dialog Design (formerly Cohos Evamy). Sponsorship Event Sponsorship allows Sponsors to align themselves with Safe Haven Foundation, a relevant local charity with a history of excellence, and with California Wines. Revenue generated by Sponsorship goes to offset event costs, allowing revenue generated through ticket sales and auction to help homeless and at-risk teenage girls. Presenting Sponsorship $12,500 Presenting Sponsorship offers the unique opportunity to have your logo included on all event marketing collaterals and communication, most notably on City TV commercials, on-air banners and during our Breakfast Television appearance March 15th. The Presenting Sponsor will have their company name and logo affixed whenever California Wine Fair is referenced, indicating it is “Presented by”. The Presenting Sponsor will receive 32 complimentary event tickets allowing them to bring a number of colleagues and clients. Platinum, Gold & Silver Sponsorships $2,500 - $7,500 Sponsorships allow local businesses the opportunity to align themselves with Safe Haven Foundation and the California Wine Fair, as community partners with a focus on giving back. Sponsors are recognized on social media, our website and at the event and receive various numbers of complimentary event tickets.
