Data Management Specialist Job Purpose: Provide support to the agency sales staff by updating and inputting client data, running agency reports, and creating accurate insurance quotes and proposals to promote agency growth and better serve our clients. Skills/Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of modern business communications, styles and formats Must have or acquire an active state insurance license Doesn’t take life too seriously Works well with others Willing to follow processes and instructions Must be coachable and trainable Organized and dependable Has a love of numbers and accuracy Ability to use a computer and proficient in various software/apps/websites Ability to type fast. Really fast.
Job Duties:
Help the long-term success of the agency by following the agency’s guidelines and operational processes Quote and organize coverage options that meet a client’s immediate and long-term goals Obtain underwriting approval by completing applications for coverage Provide continuing service to sales staff and customers by thoroughly completing service requests and policy renewals Organizes client and agency data by downloading daily policy information, assigning tasks to the appropriate representative, manually entering data that does not download automatically including scanning paper documents into digital files, running agency reports as needed, and verifying all data for accuracy Update job knowledge by participating in educational and professional opportunities, reading relevant publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Enhance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
