Primary Bassist and often the Band leader for Van Morrison throughout the 70’s 80’s 90’s and into this decade. David is one of the original members of the Jesse Colin Young Band and spent seven years with Souhside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. David has performed and or recorded with such greats as: Ray Charles, Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Solomon Burke, Tom Waits, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Little Steven, Jerry Garcia, Co Country Joe McDonald, Jackie De Shannon and many more. David peofrms on this years’s Van Morrison album releases including “Van Morrison at the Movies”, “The Best of Van Morrison Volume 3” and Van’s soon to be released untitled studio album. David has released 4 solo albums, 2 on Gold Castle Records and 2 on Line Records. David recently appeared on the Conan O’Brien Show with Tom Waits and he also appears on the recently released DVD from Van Morrison “Van Morrison: Live in Montreux” recorded in 1980 at the Monreux Jazz Festival.
