Determination of the impact of social cross profiles on sensory perception and perceptual response of the consumer panels Sashie Abeywickrema*, Seneviratne Navaratne Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka Abstract This paper systematically reviews the impact of age, gender, education level, occupation, income level and expectation of the consumers toward the sensory perception and perceptual response for tea, coffee and a selected cola beverage. Study was conducted as a survey and samples of each beverage were tested according to ISO 8589:2007. Collected data were analyzed for multinomial regression by SPSS 22.0 statistical software.
