ADMISSION NOTICE FOR DIRECT SECOND YEAR OF POST SSC DIPLOMA COURSES IN ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGYFOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-18 2017 The Government of Maharashtra notified the rules vide Gazette Notification Notificatio No. TEM-2016/CR 473/16 (Part-2)/TE-4, 4, dated on 24thApril 2017 to regulate admissions to Direct Second Year of Full Time Professional Diploma Technical Courses in Engineering and Technology. These rules are called the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Education Institution, Regulation of Admission to the professional undergraduate / Diploma /Post Graduate Degree Courses. These rules are also made applicable for admissions in Government and Government Aided institutions vide Governme Government Resolution of Higher & Technical Education ation Department No. TEM TEM-2016/CR 473/16/TE-4 4 Dated 25thApril 2017. This notification is being issued for Sell of application kit at Facilitation Centers (FC), Online Registration, Documents Verification and Applicat Application ion Form Confirmation at Facilitation Centers (FC), (FC) Online Option Form Submission, Confirmation and Acceptance of Seat at Admission Reporting Center (ARC), Reporting to allotted institute by aspiring candidates for admissions to Direct Second Year of Full Time Post SSC Diploma Courses in Engineering and Technology in the he Government, Government Aided and Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions for the Academic Year 2017-18 2017 in the Maharashtra State. Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates (i) The Candidate te should be an Indian National (ii) Passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Science or HSC Science with vocational or HSC Science with Technical or SSC with 2 Years ITI ITI/CoE(equivalent to 2 year ITI) with appropriate specialization Important Note:
Candidate with HSC Science or HSC Science with vocational or HSC Science with Technical Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or SSC with 2 Years ITI should have passed SSC (10th Standard) examination of Maharashtra State Board d of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with subjects English, Maths/Mathematics (code 71) and Science & Technology (code 72). Eligibility of the Student for the specific branches of Diploma Programs shall be as per MSBTE guidelines prescribed by rul rulee No. 4.3.1 as given in information brochure for 2017-18. 2017
Online Registration for Admission: 1.1 The candidates are required to purchase the Application Kit with Information Brochure from the nearest Facilitation Centre by paying fees as given below. General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State 400/- (cash) Reserved Category Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability 300/- (cash) Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. Fees paid is nonrefundable. 1.2 The candidates should apply online on http://dsd17.dtemaharashtra.org/dsd17 as per schedule and fill the Online Application Form step by step.

Only those Candidates who have verified and confirmed documents at Facilitation Centers and having CAP Merit number shall be eligible for admission for all types of seats/quota under CAP. 2. As per the Rule No 3 & 13, a candidate aspiring for admission for vacant seats after CAP it is a prerequisite & mandatory to get documents verified and confirmed at facilitation centers. Such candidates must apply separately to Institutes for admissions to these seats. Merit of such candidates shall be prepared at the institute level. 3. *Facility of Online Registration & Documents verification, confirmation of Application Form for Admission to Seats other than CAP Seats shall be continued till 24thAugust 2017 up to 5.00 PM at FCs. Applications registered online/verified & confirmed at FC after Last Date i.e. 07thJuly2017 shall be considered only for Non CAP Seats. The List of the institutes identified as Facilitation Centers (FC) and Admission reporting Centers (ARC) is available on the website. Candidates who do not want to change the options already filled in for CAP Round I or II, their already filled in & confirmed options will be considered for allotment in subsequent rounds. The Information Brochure shall also be available for download on website. The candidates are required to produce the documents in original for verification and Confirmation of Application Form at FC. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Documents verification stage as per the notified schedule. The Seat Acceptance Fee shall be 3,000/- for Candidates of General Category, VJ/DT, NT, SBC/OBC Category and 1,000/- for SC, ST Category Candidates. The candidate has to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee during first reporting only. This fee shall be transferred to the institution after deducting Rs. 1,000/- towards processing fee. The Seat Acceptance fee is to be paid at ARC through ONLINE MODE only. If candidates fail to confirm online filled application form at FC, then such applications will be rejected and name of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of Admission for both CAP as well as Non-CAP process. All Backward Class candidates excluding SC & ST should produce Non Creamy Layer certificate valid up to 31stMarch 2018 at the time of verification of documents at FC. If these candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy Layer certificate, then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim Reserved seats under the admission process. Candidates who have purchased application kit as a reserved category candidate but unable to produce Caste/Tribe certificate for reservation claim during documents verification phase, shall have to pay difference amount of fees of 100/- at the FC in cash.

Candidate can avail the IT facilities free of cost which is available at Facilitation Centre (FC) for submission, confirmation of Application form. All FC’s/ARC’s shall remain open on all days including holidays and Sundays (Excluding 15th August 2017) for submission, confirmation of application form & reporting for seat acceptance respectively during the schedule between 10 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The schedule displayed above is provisional and may change under unavoidable circumstances.
