Directions to Austin College Sneed Environmental Research Area and Prairie Restoration Site
Location: 1624 Keyes Road Sherman, TX 75092
From the east (from Sherman): From the intersection of Hwy. 75 and US Hwy. 82 in Sherman, proceed west on US Hwy. 82 W (9.7 miles) to Old Southmayd Road; turn north (right) onto Old Southmayd Road and proceed (1.3 miles) to Keyes Road (sign on right); proceed west (.5 mile) on Keyes Road; turn south (left) at the Sneed gate with entrance sign and down the driveway to the shed for parking. From the west (from Gainesville): From the intersection of I-35N and US Hwy. 82E. in Gainesville, proceed east on US Hwy. 82 E. (19.4 miles) through Whitesboro; continue past Whitesboro exits (about 7 miles) to Old Southmayd Road; turn left (north) onto Old Southmayd Road and proceed (1.3 miles) to Keyes Road (sign on right); proceed west (.5 mile) on Keyes Road; turn south (left) at the Sneed gate with entrance sign and down the driveway to the shed for parking.
