Diversity Gold Coast
FREE EVENT #diversitygc
It’s Queensland’s birthday, and it’s time to reflect on how lucky we are to be part of this great state. Join us to Celebrate Queensland Day at Diversity Gold Coast on Saturday 3 June in Chinatown, Southport!
Gold Coast Chinatown will come alive from 2pm to 9pm with the very best in cuisine from around the world, an action packed line-up of entertainment plus activities, information stalls and fun for the whole family. The unique outdoor environment will provide a great backdrop for an official Australian Citizenship Ceremony for approximately 150 of our newest residents from 2pm followed by a colourful array of cultural performances and live music through until 9pm. Stroll through the market stalls, experience different cultures and taste your way across the globe without leaving the Gold Coast – this is an event not to be missed! We are focussed on sustainable events therefore bottled water will not be sold to help reduce the amount of waste produced at the event – instead, free water refills will be available so don’t forget to bring your own bottle. Diversity Gold Coast is part of the Queensland Government’s Queensland Day celebrations 2 - 10 June 2017 and is proudly supported by 102.9 Hot Tomato.
