PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Meadow Mount and Section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer Orwell Wheelers has requested the temporary closure of Meadowmount and a section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer. The closure is to take place from 6.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 20th June, 2018. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate The Stephen Roche Cycle Race. Diversion of traffic will be via Barton Road East, Meadow Avenue, Meadow Grove, Willow Road and Beech Lawn and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be signposted. Emergency Access can be provided, if required, during the period of the road closure. Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or via email at [email protected] on or before 12 noon on Monday 11th June, 2018.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Main Street, Dundrum Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is proposing to close Main Street, Dundrum between its junction with Upper Kilmacud Road to just south of the entrance to the Village Centre Carpark. The closure is to take place from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 24th June, 2018. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate The Dundrum Arts & Cultural Festival. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversions will be signposted. Local access will be maintained at all times. Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Mariner’s Court, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Gas Networks Ireland to temporarily close Mariner’s Court, Dún Laoghaire from Haigh Terrace to Mariners Court between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. from 18th June, 2018 to 22nd June, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate gas works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times. Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Burma Road, Killiney Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council proposes to temporarily close Burma Road, Killiney (access Road to Killiney Hill Park) from Dalkey Avenue to Killiney Hill Park between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from 18th June, 2018 to 6th July, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate road reconstruction work on Saval Park Roundabout by the Roads Maintenance Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times. Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Castle Street, Dalkey

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Castle Street from Allied Irish Bank to The Church of the Assumption, Castle Street, Dalkey on Saturday 16th June, 2018 and Sunday 17th June, 2018 from 12 Noon to 6.00 p.m. in order to promote Dalkey Book Festival. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the Street Festival Run in conjunction with Dalkey Book Festival and to bring a festival atmosphere for community and visitors. A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the event.

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Extension of Temporary (Periodic) Road Closure, Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from John Sisk and Sons (Holdings) Ltd, Wilton Works, Naas Road, Dublin 22, to extend the temporary closure of Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, from its junction with George’s Place to its junction with Crofton Road to through traffic until Tuesday 12th June, 2018. The road will not be closed continuously during this period. Closures will be periodic and residents will be notified at least three days in advance in each instance. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate works relating to the new Rapid Delivery housing development at George’s Place, Dún Laoghaire. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Water main connection and footpath works will commence on Monday, 11 th June 2018 from 10:00 until 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Brighton Road, Foxrock **

Completion of site hoarding and pruning of trees at Four Winds Nursing Home will commence on Friday, 15th June 2018 between 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Lane restriction will be in place and a Three Way Stop and Go Shuttle Traffic Management System will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Mather Road North, Mount Merrion *

Footpath and road restoration works will commence on Monday, 11 th June 2018 until Friday, 29th June 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Highridge Green, Stillorgan *

Footpath and road restoration works will commence on Monday, 11 th June 2018 until Friday, 29th June 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Sandyford at Coolkill *

Drainage investigation works will continue until Friday, 15th June 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment *** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. Works will be required on the sea side path of Windsor Terrace between Park Road and the car park to facilitate the installation of ducting and the erection of the hoarding. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works and lane restrictions will be between 10:00-16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday for approximately 6 weeks. Once these works are completed the construction will be confined within the site.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Kilmacud Road Upper 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Kill Lane/Avenue 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Kilmacud Road Lower 8. Cornelscourt Hill 9. Avoca Ave 10. Monkstown Ring Road. 11. Stradbrook Road 12. Sallynoggin Road These works will continue until Friday, 21st December 2018. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Hyde Road, Dalkey ** Site investigation works will commence on Monday, 11th June 2018 until Friday, 15th June 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Ashlawn Park (off Church Road) Ballybrack ** Site investigation works will commence on Monday, 11th June 2018 until Friday, 15th June 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Summerhill Road / The Metals Intersection, Dún Laoghaire ** Installation of public lighting column and associated cabling. Work to commence on 11th June 2018 until Friday, 22nd June 2018. A stop /Go traffic management Plan will be in operation.

Corke Abbey ** As part of the 2018 Footpath Restoration programme works commenced on Corke Abbey, on Monday, 14th May 2018 for duration of 4 weeks between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place. Page 5 of 6

Deerpark Road, Mount Merrion (Mount Anville Road end) ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works commenced on Tuesday, 8th May 2018 until Thursday, 28th June 2018 (intermittently). A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Shanganagh Road, Shankill ** Construction of a new footpath (which impacts on northbound traffic lane) commenced on Tuesday, 8th May 2018 until Friday, 6th July 2018 between 09:30 and 16:30 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

N11 – Northbound between the Clonkeen and Johnstown Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 27th July 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

N11 – Southbound between the Clonkeen and Johnstown Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 27th July 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.
