The teddy bear is yours to keep! (While supplies last.) HAWAI‘I PACIFIC HEALTH ASK-A-DOCTOR A chance for parents to get tips about keiki health and safety from concussion awareness and sports safety to u shots and vaccinations.

From their earliest training sessions in Hawaii through their test of endurance on the high seas, the crew forms an unbreakable bond.

FILMS: WHY MāUI SNARED THE SUN, THE MENEHUNE AND THE BIRDS, PELE SEARCHES FOR A HOME (PRESENTED BY PACIFIC RESOURCES FOR EDUCATION AND LEARNING) Why Māui Snared the Sun: Long ago, Kalā (the sun) raced across the sky as he pleased, leaving the land and its people with short days and long, dark nights. In order to make things pono (right), Māui summons his courage and travels to Haleakalā, where he confronts the Mighty Kalā. The Menehune and the Birds: K hau, a young Menehune boy, and a little ‘elepaio bird, discover that a group of men has been killing the birds of the Kaua‘i rainforest in order to harvest their feathers faster. K hau and ‘Elepaio seek out the Menehune Chief and his warriors to help save their friends. Pele Searches for a Home: Pele, the primal force of volcanic heat and lava, leaves her ancient home of Kahiki and searches out a new home for herself and her family. As she travels down the Hawaiian island chain, she is pursued by and battles her eldest sister Nāmaka, the goddess of water and the sea, finally finding refuge in K lauea on the Big Island of Hawaii.

FILM: THE HAUMANA Jonny Kealoha is the charismatic host of a struggling Waikiki lounge show. To everyone’s surprise, including his own, he is appointed successor to a high school boys hula group, becoming as much a student as a teacher as he prepares them for a significant hula event 9

For the last ten years Owen — who resides on Kauai and founded Treehouse Melodies — has been expanding his ability while sharing his passion, story and natural gift of music.
