Community We all belong to a community. Our family is a part of a community in a village. As a student you are a part of a school community. As a Christian, you are part of a church community. People in a community help each other.

Community Helpers There are People around us who helps us everyday. There are people who chose to help other people using the gifts that God gave them. Get ready to meet some of the community helpers that we usually see around. I am a fireman. I help others by making sure that I come on time to put out fires and to save people’s lives when there is an emergency.

I am a lawyer. I help people by defending them in the court. I also help those who are not treated fairly.

I am a veterinarian. I make sure that animals are fit and healthy!

I am a librarian. I help students get the book they need for school.

I am a teacher. I make sure that my students understand their lessons in class.

I am a policeman. I help people keep safe by making sure that they obey the law.

I am a lay volunteers/ Teresiana. I help others by teaching in schools and making sure that everyone is healthy especially the less fortunate through different outreach programs and by sharing to others stories about God.
