Dear Prospective Sponsor,
The purpose of this letter is to invite you to join us as a Corporate Sponsor in supporting the Wayne State University School of Medicine World Health Student Organization.
Our non-‐profit organization coordinates medical mission trips by sending medical and pharmacy students, physicians, and pharmacists to underserved countries such as Haiti, Panama, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Peru. We provide much needed medical care to people who would otherwise go untreated due to poor access. Collectively, our team of students and physicians treat thousands of patients and prevent further disease by providing vaccinations -‐ especially in Haiti, where the devastation of the 2010 earthquake is still evident. In addition, we install water filtration systems for villages that have no access to clean water. By removing parasites and bacteria from the drinking water, we are helping to create sustainable health.
As a partner of WHSO, corporate sponsors will have an opportunity to: • Gain and expand visibility in WSU School of Medicine, Detroit hospital communities, and several physicians. • Support an organization that directly assists people around the world. • Funds from our corporate sponsors will go directly and only towards the purchase of medicine, vaccines, water filters, and medical equipment.
If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor, please return the completed form by July 10, 2013 to ensure proper placement of your corporate logo on the t-‐shirts, November 1, 2013 for placement on our Holiday Dinner sponsor board, or April 1, 2014 for placement on our Annual Spring Dinner sponsor board. When we receive your form, your logo will immediately be placed on our website.
