Thank you for considering participating as a sponsor of the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s annual dinner, Under the Roof, on Saturday, April 12th at the Center for Arts at the Armory in Somerville. The event will feature delicious food from Redbones, live music and a silent auction. This year we are excited to be honoring Carla DeLellis, owner of Johnny D’s. Always concerned with Somerville, and especially Davis Square, Carla has been a wonderful partner, promoting community for everyone. Besides being lead sponsor for the Annual 5K Road Race, Carla and Johnny D’s host the Christmas Cavalcade. Carla is a great neighbor and friend and we are honored to recognize her this year. Monies raised through this event will help underwrite the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s programs which help prevent at-risk families and individuals from becoming homeless, and support those who are homeless and help them transition into housing. We also run two emergency shelters, one for families and another for individuals, and a food pantry and meals program, Project SOUP. As a sponsor, you will receive valuable recognition, ranging from a half-page to full-page color ad in the program book, table signage, mention in local press, and your logo on our event web page, as well as complimentary tickets for the event. Nearly 250 business, community, and non-profit leaders and others attended the event last year. I hope you will join us as a partner in our work to address hunger and homelessness in our community.
