In the 1970s two saloons, two coupés, an estate, the SL and the G-Class were sufficient to satisfy the requirements of Mercedes-Benz customers all over the world. However, demands have changed: more individuality and vehicle designs that are even more special, as well as more comprehensive selection options spur development on dynamically. This is why we currently offer 21 attractive vehicle model series which span across all classes. In addition there are also the AMG models and the variants with permanent 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Our flagship, the new S-Class, aspires to be the best vehicle in the world: it has established a previously unknown dimension of luxury, comfort and efficiency in a saloon. And it has raised the standard of safety equipment in the vehicle to a previously unknown level. The S-Class is now more synonymous with luxury and innovative automotive engineering than ever before.

The new E-Class family, which we have just launched on the market, impresses amongst other things with the most efficient petrol engine in its market segment, 11 new or updated assistance systems which make driving considerably safer and far more comfortable – and a design that already became an award-winner shortly after its market launch.*

Following on from the A, B and CLA-Class, our newly developed front-wheel and all-wheel drive platforms will continue to grow. Amongst other things, the platform will see the addition of its first compact SUV. We provided an insight of this with the Concept GLA in Shanghai. This has numerous benefits for your fleet: you can offer tailor-made vehicle solutions, which satisfy the requirements of the individual and make personal distinctions possible. At the same time costs remain transparent and calculable in the long-term thanks to fair leasing and service offers. Mercedes-Benz offers you everything from a single source – in the best premium quality.

Efficient, intelligent, emotional After more than 13 million vehicles sold in its segment, the new E-Class is setting the standard once again – with a dynamically elegant design, highly efficient engines and new assistance systems.

The new E-Class In top form

The exterior – dynamic and elegant. Intelligent changes have given the E-Class a new look and different proportions. The designers have stayed true to the current Mercedes-Benz shape, while reinterpreting the classic design features of the brand. For the first time, the E-Class is available with two different fronts. Customers can choose from the classic, three-dimensional saloon grille with a star on the bonnet, or the sports car radiator with the large, centrally positioned Mercedes star. The bonnet and the front bumper have also been given a facelift. Just like the saloon and the estate, the redesigned front with its new headlamps is a striking feature of the revamped E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet.

Saving fuel while delivering a superior performance. The models included in the E-Class family represent a particularly wide range of powerful and efficient petrol and diesel engines. It is not only the ECO start/stop system that promises an efficient performance. The BluedIRECT petrol engines have welcomed a new addition: a four-cylinder petrol engine with spray-guided direct injection that boasts superb emission and consumption values. This four-cylinder engine already meets the Euro 6 standard that will only first come into play from 2015 onwards. The BluedIRECT engine is based on the same innovative technology featured in the six- and eight-cylinder engines from the latest generation of

Dynamic exterior

The interior: exclusive and luxurious

The interior – spacious and refined. The impressive design of the exterior works in harmony with the obvious changes made inside the new E-Class. High-quality materials and cleverly arranged spaces, tightly joined and sharply finished, have resulted in a successful overall impression of the interior space. A two-piece decorative trim stretches across the entire length of the dashboard – available on request with a wood or aluminium finish. The strong design of the interior clearly emphasises the link between all models of the new E-Class family. An analogue clock between the redesigned air vents is one particular design feature that connects all cars. The Cabriolet has an acoustic soft top with super insulation properties. This model thus boasts the lowest noise level of its class.

Mercedes-Benz. All BluedIRECT engines combine instant response and superb performance with the greatest of efficiency and record emission values. Almost all E-Class models with diesel engines meet the requirements of efficiency class A. With efficiency class A+, the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId is the most economical E-Class of all times. The petrol engines range from135 kW (184 hp) to 430 kW (585 hp) and the diesel engines from 100 kW (136 hp) to 185 kW (252 hp). “Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive” with new assistance systems. With the “Mercedes-Benz Intelligent drive”, Mercedes-Benz has further confirmed its pioneering role when it comes to safety. In the E-Class, a number of new and improved systems from the future S-Class make their first

First-rate Vehicles with the star have convinced automotive experts, specialist journalists and readers across the board. This can be seen in the number of awards received by the brand over the past few months.

Residual Value Winners 2017. The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class, M-Class, the CLS Shooting Brake, as well as the new CLA, have been chosen by “Focus Online” and the market research institute “Bähr & Fess Forecast” as the vehicles in their class with the best value retention, making them the “Residual Value Winners 2017”. This title was awarded to four Mercedes-Benz models: B 180 CdI BlueEFFICIENCY, ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC, CLS Shooting Brake 350 CdI and CLA 180. Company Car of the Year. Mercedes-Benz and smart were named “Company Car of the Year” in three different categories. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class thus defended its title for the second year running. despite having only recently celebrated its market launch, even the newest generation was more than capable of bringing home the title for the executive segment. The new Mercedes-Benz E 300 Estate BlueTEC HYBRId boasts record efficiency values of just 4.4 l diesel/100 km and 116 g CO²/km*, despite the increased torque and power on offer. In the category for small and compact MPVs, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class took home the trophy yet again: The B-Class is a typical Sports Tourer and managed to win over the testers with its impressive space, as well as its strong driving dynamics. In the mini cars category, nothing changed since last year – the smart fortwo electric drive remained in pole position.

The Estate version of the new E-Class also impresses with its elegance and dynamism

ever appearance and ensure a safer and more comfortable journey for the driver and his passengers. At the heart of the assistance systems are new, state-of-the-art sensors and corresponding algorithms. All models of the E-Class series come equipped with radar-based assistance systems COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST and ATTENTION ASSIST as standard. Top-class equipment. The new E-Class already boasts a whole host of comprehensive and high-quality equipment as standard. New optional extras now include HANdS-FREE ACCESS for the hands-free opening and closing of the boot lid. A modern infotainment package keeps the driver and his

passengers up to date with the latest news, entertained with a selection of music and, on request, can provide competent navigation assistance and an Internet connection.

E-Class in brief With a new design, new efficient engines and assistance systems from the future S-Class, Mercedes-Benz has comprehensively modernised the E-Class. There has also been significant progress made with the new E-Class in terms of efficiency and ecology – with emission values from 107 g CO²/km*.

Impressive consumption with increased comfort The E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId boasts record-breaking figures when it comes to consumption and CO² emissions. With another two BlueEFFICIENCY Edition models that are even more efficient, the new A-Class is certainly causing a sensation in the compact segment. “E” for efficiency – the new E-Class stays true to this motto, raising the bar that little bit higher and showing just how consumption values can be reduced through the intelligent interplay of technical innovation along the entire drive train. The models within the E-Class family offer a wide range of powerful and efficient petrol and diesel engines. All come equipped with the ECO start/stop system.

Efficiency Utmost quality despite low emissions

driving comfort: starting and moving off are virtually noiseless, while in addition the hybrid module dampens any vibrations of the internal combustion engine. The new model is also generous when it comes to space, both for the passengers and their luggage.

The most efficient E-Class of all times. The comprehensive range of engines has seen a further addition: the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId which combines the four-cylinder diesel engine (150 kW/204 hp) with an electric motor (20 kW/27 hp). The E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId saloon consumes 4.1 l/100 km

“A” for amazing savings. After the successful launch of the new A-Class, Mercedes-Benz expanded the range with two particularly efficient and environmentally friendly BlueEFFICIENCY Edition models: With an NEdC consumption of 3.6 l/100 km and a CO² value of just 92 g/km*, the A 180 CdI BlueEFFICIENCY Edition is the most economical Mercedes-Benz of all times. The petrol-engine version of the

with a CO² emission of 107 g/km*. Thus making it the most efficient model of the executive category, classified with the energy efficiency class A+. The E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId was also awarded the environmental certificate in accordance with ISO directive 14062 from the impartial experts at the TÜV Süd testing agency. This certificate is based on an ecobalance; an extensive lifecycle assessment in which every environment-related detail is comprehensively tested. At the same time, hybridisation brings with it enhanced

A 180 BlueEFFICIENCY Edition is also one of the most efficient vehicles in its class with 5.2 l/100 km and 120 g CO²/km*. In comparison to the basic model vehicles, consumption was reduced even further for the BlueEFFICIENCY Edition models – by 0.2 (diesel) or 0.3 l/100 km (petrol), representing in each case an improvement of five percent. To achieve this, the cW value of the A-Class, for example, was further reduced from cW = 0.27 – the top score for hatchback vehicles in this segment – to cW = 0.26.

Efficiency in brief The E 300 BlueTEC HYBRId boasts impressive consumption figures (4.1 l/100 km and 107 g/km CO²)* together with improved driving comfort. With the BlueEFFICIENCY Edition models of the new A-Class, it was possible to reduce the consumption and emission values even further. * The figures are not based on an individual vehicle and do not constitute part of the product offer; they are provided solely for purposes of comparison between different vehicle models.

Progressive and excitingly different Mercedes-Benz established a new segment in 2004 with the CLS – characterised by a fascinating and sensual design, as well as sophisticated sporty highlights. The four-door Coupé concept was further explored, with impressive results, for the new CLA-Class and the CLS Shooting Brake.

Time for a new design – the CLS Shooting Brake. Long bonnet, narrow window profile with frameless side windows, roof sloping dynamically towards the rear and continuing to the tail end of the vehicle: The proportions of the CLS Shooting Brake are surprising, however clearly those of a Coupé, and remind one of a crouched posture, as if the vehicle were poised to make a leap. In essence, this is a design that has never been seen before, a sports car with five seats and a large boot lid. Just like the CLS Coupé, the CLS Shooting Brake is strongly defined by its side profile. One significant feature is the elongated, chrome-based E-line, which tapers out into a low d-pillar.

Design CLS Shooting Brake and CLA

Elegance and innovation inside. Combining timeless design, innovative elegance and flawless craftsmanship, the interior of the CLS Shooting Brake certainly leaves a lasting impression. The central monitor is seamlessly integrated into the upper part of the dashboard, while the side lines in the doors glide downwards, picking up on the dynamic “dropping” line of the exterior. The extravagant designo wooden luggage compartment floor is an optional extra, one which further accentuates

the character of the interior and was inspired by luxurious yachts. The CLA – a style rebel and world record holder. The design of the Concept Style Coupé is seamlessly carried over into the series by the CLA. A superb example of a sports car, breathtaking proportions and dynamic design with an interplay of concave and convex spaces make this four-door vehicle a one-of-a-kind Coupé. Two of the most striking features include the bonnet

coefficient: With a cW value of 0.23, the CLA has achieved a new record – both within the Mercedes-Benz model range and among all series production vehicles. Interior with “cool touch” effect. The interior continues the progressive, sporty appearance initiated by the exterior. Added to this is a high sense of perceived value, encompassing the design, the options available and possibilities for combining top-class

with power domes and the diamond grille. Three striking lines lend the side profile its structure, the wider tail-end boasts power and athleticism. The successful combination of sporty design and efficiency can be seen in the drag

materials. All decorative surfaces are galvanised and thus boast a metallic gloss effect. The free-standing display has a screen in black piano-lacquer and a silver, flush-fitted frame.

Design in brief The CLS Shooting Brake boasts surprising proportions and timeless design. The design of the Concept Style Coupé is seamlessly carried over into the series by the CLA. The claim: the best car in the world Focusing on three main developments, “Intelligent drive”, “Efficient Technology” and the “Essence of Luxury”, the new S-Class extends the boundaries of technology on a number of levels.

Efficiency – leading the way in every performance class. With the S 400 HYBRId, S 500, S 350 BlueTEC and S 300

New dimension of safety. What began with PRE-SAFE® ten years ago and continued with dISTRONIC PLUS is now leading to a new dimension in driving: the perfect fusion of comfort and safety. Mercedes-Benz calls this “Mercedes-Benz Intelligent drive”. A number of new functions have contributed towards avoiding both accidents involving pedestrians and rear-end collisions in city traffic, defusing dangerous situations caused by approaching vehicles and improving the safety function of the seat belt. High crash safety, outstanding stability for superb driving performance while ensuring quiet-running and vibration comfort, were the development targets when designing the shell of the new S-Class.

BlueTEC HYBRId, a choice of two hybrids, one petrol variant and one diesel variant will be available in the launch year of the new S-Class. All models are leading the way in terms of efficiency within their categories – in comparison to previous models, consumption has been reduced by up to 20 percent. All engines already undercut the limits set out by the Euro 6 exhaust gas standard. S 400 HYBRId and S 350 BlueTEC additionally meet the strict criteria of efficiency class A, and the S 300 BlueTEC HYBRId even qualifies for class A+.

The true embodiment of a modern luxury saloon. The new S-Class is an exclusive first-class mobile office, and at the same time an exquisite oasis of well-being. In addition to featuring high-grade materials, the interior boasts numerous world firsts, opening up a completely new dimension in luxury and comfort. These include the ENERGIZING massage function based on the hot stone principle, active seat ventilation with innovative reversing fans, active and individually adjustable fragrancing as well as the executive rear seat with a revolutionary fully reclined position.

Leading the way in terms of technology. Just like every other generation before it, the new S-Class aims to set the standard in every way it can – and thus live up to the name of being “the best car in the world”. These efforts to be the best can be seen, for example, in the vehicle interior. Whether the seats or the air conditioning, whether operation or design, whether infotainment or comfort and safety in the rear: New ideas, their painstaking realisation and the very highest perceived quality underline the expectations of the engineers for the Mercedes-Benz flagship model – and for themselves.

Innovation The new S-Class

Innovation in brief Numerous world firsts increase the efficiency, comfort and safety of the new S-Class to a previously unattained level. The aim is to set the standard in every way it can.
