Professional Career Present Research Experience School of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering (MMNE). Synthesis of CuO, CuO-GO (Graphene Oxide), reduced GO, CuO-Chitosan NCs, CuO-MWCNTs, Fe3O4, Al2O3, ZnO nano rods/nano particles and preparation of their nano fluids for the applications of pool boiling critical heat flux. Flexible self-heating MWCNTs nano composite device of surface heating composites. We studied the performance of surface heating by addition of various fillers such as GO, CuO, Fe3O4 NPs. Aug 1st, 2010 to Dec 31, 2013, at Kaist, Daejeon. Worked as Contract Research Scientist in KAIST, Daejeon. Synthesis of Electro active Polymer membranes as Ion-exchange polymer membrane metallic composites (IPMC) actuators using modified Chitosan, GO and Ionic Liquids. Thermally stable transparent sulfonated polyimide membranes for proton transfer and electric stimuli responsive bending actuators. Graphene Oxide (GO) and rGO nano composite polymers for Ion-exchange polymers. Developed Functionalized membrane using PEI Micro and Nano particles for Forward and Reverse Osmosis to desalinate the water. Developing polyelectrolyte Layer-by-layer synthesis using various functional groups on PEI nano fibrous surface which creates low pressure and ion selective nano fibrous composite membrane for water treatment and reuse.
