The main map shows levels of hazard to consider for best beach management policy.Others maps report results from the analysis carried out: higher waves direction, digital shoreline analysis and preservation state of dunes. Processing data in a environmental matrix brought to the assessment of the coastal erosion hazard of Capitolo beach.

HIGHER WAVES DIRECTION
The rose diagram of Monopoli buoy shows the main winds direction and the waves height. The red box highlights the wind direction causing maximum wave height. The names of winds that characterize the Mediterranean sea are shown all around the diagram.

"Digital Shoreline Analysis System" map, graphically shows the methodology used by the DSAS (E. Robert Thieler, Emily A.Himmelstoss, Jessica L. Zichichi, and Tara L. Miller-U.S. Geological Survey) to obtain the parameters represented in the graphs on the left (Net Shoreline Movement ( NSM ), that reports the distance in meters between the youngest coastline and the oldest one and End Point Rate (EPR) that provides an average rate of evolution annual coasts in the form of fast forward or backward). The coastline was divided into transects developed from a baseline. The tool, starting from the points of intersection of the coastline with the transects, calculates the distance between shorelines on at different times. In the graphs the x-axis report the transects with their ID numbers showed in the DSAS map.
