Description: Data manipulation and cost allocation can be accomplished using a combination of calculations and features in Excel. Excel 2010 offers many new and improved productivity features to work with data. By attending this session, you will understand the benefits of proper list design and use of Excel functions as well as how applying these features in Excel can help you, your team, and your organization work more efficiently. Going beyond Excel basics, we will examine more intermediate and advanced features. Attendees will receive practical information and many tips.

Compare and contrast the Excel Pivot Table for analyzing one set of data vs. the Multiple Consolidated Ranges feature for analyzing multiple sets of data that are dissimilar in structure; 2. Explore Pivot Table analysis in date ranges; 3. Explore formulas and functions for allocating costs; 4. Use new Conditional Formatting and Sparkline presentation graphics to show patterns and trends in data; 5.
