CREATE YOUR PERFECT QUILT DESIGN! Whether you are a frame quilter or an embroiderer, HUSQVARNA VIKING® QuiltDesign Creator will help you to quilt a masterpiece. Use step by step software wizards to create quilt blocks, design elements or borders for your automated quilter* or embroidery machine**. Create quilt blocks automatically, trace a picture, use the included designs and MiniPics; draw your design or create text from fonts on your computer.

Outline or fill in an area with traditional echo quilting Echo any shape or filled design with perfect echo lines. Select from three different styles for a curved or more angular echo. Set your echo lines external, internal or both (outside or inside the area). Set the number of lines and vary the spacing for your desired result.

Design a personalized embroidered quilt label with the 5D™ QuiltDesign Label Creator*** Create a beautiful quilt label automatically, with one or two text areas, a flourish between them and a frame or border to finish it off. Typical labels contain your name and the date the quilt was completed, but you can also create blocks for the front of your quilt. Why not add an embroidered poem or message? 30 fonts are included, together with over 750 frames and flourishes – 45 central flourishes plus 729 frames (81 Corners, 126 Flourish Above, 117 Flourish Below, 117 Flourish Duo, 234 Frames, 54 Side Pieces). 50 preset system styles are included.

Split your quilt block or label to fit your embroidery machine hoops with the 5D™ QuiltDesign Embroidery Splitter*** Split a quilt design or label automatically for your own machine. Stitch out in any hoop including a multi-part hoop. Add alignment stitches for easy re-hooping and print an overview and templates.

Create amazing quilting fill areas automatically Set any area to fill with traditional quilting patterns such as Stipple, Channel (Parallel lines) and Diamond. Vary the line spacing for different effects. Select from Diamond or Square Cross-hatch, or enter your own preferred angles to create asymmetrical crosshatching.

Add beautiful Motif Fill areas Fill any area with traditional quilting motifs! Each motif fill area may have alternating lines of motifs; vary the size and angle, too. Create your own motifs, or choose from over 75 motif patterns for quilt robot designs and over 75 smaller motifs for embroidery designs. Categories include candlewicking, flowers and leaves, geometric, pictures and scrolls.

Embellish your designs with special line effects Set any line to parallel lines or motif line. Set the spacing and number of the parallel lines, or select a beautiful motif to repeat along the line. Create your own motifs, or choose from over 75 motif patterns for quilt robot designs and over 75 smaller motifs for embroidery designs. Categories include flowers and leaves, geometric, scrolls and pictures.

Your imagination will guide you Freehand or Polygon Draw, use Shapes, MiniPics or text to begin your personal quilting design. Over 350 quilting designs and MiniPics and 50 shapes are included with your 5D™ QuiltDesign Creator Software!

View quilt designs on actual fabrics or quilt block diagrams Show either a quilt block outline or fabric behind the design within 5D™ QuiltDesign Creator. Move the background for optimum positioning and fade the view if desired.

Photograph your quilt and import into 5D™ QuiltDesign Vision Place an unlimited number of quilting designs on your background. Visualize what your quilt will become with three-dimensional realistic mode. Print a template with your quilt background and orientation for each design. Over 175 fabric backgrounds are included! + 1200 quilt blocks. Create new backgrounds from a photo of your personal fabrics or quilt blocks.

Easily Rotate or Reflect a basic shape to create an intricate design Use the Multiply Option. Adjust one area and watch the design change before your eyes.

Fashioning a quilt border is effortless Set the work area, place one design and “Encore”! The software places the appropriate number of quilt designs to make the border.

Craft a unique phrase Your 5D™ QuiltDesign Creator software will change it to a quilt design automatically. Create lettering from most TrueType® and OpenType® fonts on your computer: you can even create text using stipple, crosshatching, parallel or motif fill, or amazing motif outlines!

View and enter your preferred measurements Choose from US or metric measurements in 5D™ QuiltDesign Creator. The on-screen ruler shows fractions of inches, and if you enter 3 ½ ” the software will automatically convert it to 3.5”. Enter the alternative measurement with units of mm or “ and it will be automatically converted. You can also see the alternative measurement system on a tooltip when entering sizes.

View designs with the FilmStrip and Zoom bar; Watch your quilt design come to life See the make-up of your design, and move elements to change the stitching order and look. The Zoom bar makes it easy to magnify or shrink the quilt or design view. With the Design Player, see the design path before you stitch!
