Terms and Conditions Carrier liability

Prices

Unless the Sender enters a higher Declared Value for Carriage on the air waybill, the liability of FedEx is limited to the higher of a) the amount provided by the applicable international treaty (including Warsaw and CMR Convention) or b) € 22/kg. FedEx does not provide cargo liability or all-risk insurance but the Sender may pay an additional charge for Declared Value for Carriage above these limits, subject to an incremental charge of AED 4.00 per AED 400.00 declared value. Specific items such as artwork, film, antiques, glassware, jewellery, furs, watches, etc. are limited to a maximum declared value for carriage of US$ 1,000 per shipment or US$ 9.07 per US pound, whichever is greater. Liability of claims requires notice of claims within strict time limits. FedEx’s liability is subject to strict and detailed terms and conditions. All prices are effective from 1st March 2010.

Surcharges

The Prices exclude import and export duties and taxes, which are payable separately. In addition a Dynamic Fuel Surcharge and other ancillary charges and surcharges are applicable. FedEx reserves the right at any time to amend, modify or discontinue the services, tariffs and applicable terms and conditions with or without prior notice. (1) Applicable D&T at destination can be billed to either shippers or consignees account.

Track your Freight To track your shipment at any time, simply go to our website fedex.com/ae and fill in your air waybill number. You’ll find its location, the time it was delivered and the name of the recipient.

Broker Select Option (BSO): FedEx allows customers to choose their own broker for customs clearance for shipments destined to all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

FedEx GCC Road Services are subject to the conditions of carriage for EMEA as published by FedEx on www.fedex.com or elsewhere and set out on the Air Waybill. In particular, Shipments originating in the Middle East are subject to the Federal Express Conditions of Carriage for EMEA (see Air Waybill and fedex.com/ae/services/terms). The Conditions of Carriage limit and in certain events exclude FedEx's liability for loss, destruction, damage and delay and require claims to be made within strict time limits. FedEx reserves the right at any time to amend modify or discontinue the services, tariffs and applicable terms and conditions with or without prior notice.

Loose, less-than-truckload shipments FedEx International Economy Service® is your choice for loose (non palletized) multiple piece shipments to one destination with a minimum billable weight of 71 kilograms.

Palletized less-than-truckload shipments FedEx International Economy Freight Service ® is your choice for palletized multiple piece shipments to one destination with a minimum billable weight of 68 kilograms per piece. For your full truck-load needs, please contact your FedEx Account Executive or call 800 FedEx (800 33339). FedEx GCC Road services are low cost services for less urgent shipments within the Gulf region. With these services you can benefit from a door to door, day - definite, full track and trace, proof of delivery, express customs clearance, and easy booking process.

How to use this tariff? • Determine the zone of the destination country. • Establish the weight of your shipment to find the rate in the appropriate column. • Multiply the quoted rate per kilogram by the total shipment weight.
