Our top tips for a safe holiday season... 1

Check your decorations Electrical decorations that aren’t in tip top shape can cause electrical shock or even a fire. Before you plug in a single strand of Christmas lights, you need to make sure they aren’t damaged. Look for cracked cords, loose connections, damaged sockets and loose or bare wires.

2

Be aware Your electrical outlets are made to handle a certain amount of wattage. If you push the socket beyond its limits, it can cause a fire. Make sure you spread your lights across multiple outlets to ease the load and stay safe.

3

For outdoor decorations Ensure that plugs and transformers are plugged in indoors, even if the lighting is suitable for outdoors. Take care of the cable length. Don´t put one multiple socket outlet after the other.

4

When you go out Always turn off your Christmas tree lights before leaving the house or going to bed.

We wish you a very happy and safe holiday season!
