WHERE THEY WERE MEANT TO BE SEEN! ALL ABOUT EVE (1950) Joe Mankiewicz directs Bette Davis, Anne Baxter & Marilyn Monroe. AMBITION in the Theater. “FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS”

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962) Yet another David Lean masterpiece. Peter O’Toole IS Lawrence of Arabia. It doesn’t get any better.

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (1957) Cary Grant at his best. No one has ever come close. An ageless love story plus THAT song. Bring Kleenex.

MALTESE FALCON (1941) Bogie, directed by John Huston. The original template from which all future detective movies evolved. “This is the stuff that dreams are made of.”

THE BAND WAGON (1953) Vincente Minnelli directs the one and only Fred Astaire. With Cyd Charisse. A show is on its way to Broadway. This is the total entertainment package.

MANHATTAN (1979) Vintage Woody Allen and symphonic Gershwin music. The Big Apple never looked better. In magnificent Black and White.

BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI (1957) David Lean’s masterpiece with William Holden, Jack Hawkins, Sessue Hayakawa. Quite possibly the greatest movie ever made.

MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON (1939) Classic Frank Capra with Jimmy Stewart. This should be force fed to every member of Congress and Government.

DR. STRANGELOVE (1964) For anyone who ever doubted the genius of Stanley Kubrick and Peter Sellers. This is a must see.

ON THE WATERFRONT (1954) Elia Kazan and Marlon Brando at their very best in this brilliant, ground breaking film.

DR. ZHIVAGO (1965) Another David Lean masterpiece. Classic love story and the Russian revolution blend into one of the greatest movies ever made.

TOOTSIE (1982) An all-time comedy with a great big heart. Dustin Hoffman directed by Sydney Pollack.

THE GRADUATE (1967) Dustin Hoffman’s breakthrough movie, with Anne Bancroft, directed by Mike Nichols. An all-time great movie. IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE (1946) Frank Capra’s masterpiece with Jimmy Stewart. One of the best feel good movies ever. Christmas in September on the big screen.

THE WAY WE WERE (1973) Sydney Pollack directs Streisand and Redford. A once in lifetime love story. Bring more Kleenex. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (1974) Mel Brooks directs Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, and Madeline Kahn. Quite possibly the funniest movie ever made.
