FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT 3rd National Conference on Reliability and Safety Engineering (NCRS-2016) December 01-03, 2016 DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS, SSN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, CHENNAI & SOCIETY FOR RELIABILITY AND SAFETY(SRESA), MUMBAI – CHENNAI CHAPTER Reliability and safety are given utmost importance during the design and operation of all engineering systems. Phenomenal progress has been made in this area to study, characterize, measure and analyze the failure, repair and reduce the consequences of failure thus improving the operational use by increasing their design life. The need for higher reliability and safety is emphasized due to some factors like increased product complexity; public awareness; cost of failure, damage and warranty; safety considerations with undesirable consequences. This conference aims to bring together people working in the field of reliability and safety. We welcome Scientists, Academicians, Industrial Experts, Research Scholars and Students to submit papers to the conference. About the Organizers Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSNCE) is the outcome of the vision and initiative of Dr. Shiv Nadar, Chairman, HCL Technologies and a pioneer in the field of Information Technology.
