French II – Pacing Guide 2013-2014 The following is a list of themes required to be taught for Level II French 2013-2014. All French II teachers should note that there are some changes in this guide which align our program more closely with the National and Virginia Standards of Learning. Students will need to be able to perform proficiently in listening, speaking, reading and writing activities within these themes in order to be successful with this curriculum. The themes described in the curriculum guide are REQUIRED.

SEMESTER 1 AP THEME I: CONTEMPORARY LIFE TOPIC 2: LEISURE AND SPORTS

NOTE: Be sure to adequately space apart the introduction of passé composé of verbs with avoir and those using être.
