Library News Library furlough days announced at the beginning of FY 2014 have been canceled. Thank you to David Holt and the Board of Selectmen of Norway for convening a special town meeting in September. We also thank all those who came to the meeting and voted to restore the funds. The original cuts in funding were made during the budget writing process in anticipation of a greater loss in revenue sharing from the state of Maine than were actually realized. “A Library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life.” –Henry Ward Beecher
