Global Design Snapshot
The Slash/Slash Generation: Slash/Slash kids are creative multi-skillers and culturepreneurs who define the do-it-all mindset of today’s youth. They sample from a variety of creative careers and pastimes to ensure they’re always stimulated, always on and always cutting edge. Once again Future Laboratory looks at who they are, how they work and how they are re-inventing the rules of manufacturing, retailing and marketing.
Food Futures: More food will be produced in the next 50 years than in the last 10,000 placing increasing importance and social pressures on our food choices. Future Laboratory examines some of the dichotomies between organic vs local produce, the continued growth in GM foods, and ‘hyperfoods’ being heralded for their life-extending properties.
