LAB FAILURE The laboratory counts for 20% of the course. If you pass the course but fail the lab you will receive an incomplete (K)

Lab Information

Laboratory starts the week of September 10, 2012 with an Info Session. – Nothing to bring or prepare. Info Sessions (~30 min.) will take place in the Lab (Otto Maass basement, room #1) at the time indicated on your course schedule, except for afternoon sections (CRN 329, 331, 338, 339), those will start only at 4:00. Lab Experiments will start the week of September 24.

CONFLICTS In case of conflicts with one of the LAB SECTIONS see Jean-Marc Gauthier. Please note that regardless to which lecture section you are registered, Leacock 132 or FDA Auditorium, you can attend either one. The midterms and the final exam are common to all sections.

ILLNESS Only certified medical excuses will be accepted for missed midterm examinations and laboratory experiments. When getting a medical excuse, the doctor must write clearly and print his/her name, date, reason for the excuse and d th their i phone h number b on th the certificate. No make-up mid-term examinations will be provided. Only one mid-term examination can be excused. If the second mid-term is also missed, the student will receive an incomplete (K) for the course.
