FITNESS 2000 August 1st, 2017 Dear Fitness 2000 Members, Fitness 2000 will be permanently closing, effective Friday, August 4th at 5:00 p.m. The club will remain open throughout the rest of the week. I am Rodney Steven II, owner of Genesis Health Clubs. We currently own/operate 41 clubs in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma. We are in our 30th year of business and our team has great experience in the health and fitness industry! We’re known for our customer service, our club culture and the knowledge of our fitness professionals. Genesis Health Clubs is pleased to announce that we will be acquiring all assets of Fitness 2000 and immediately upgrading all members to Gold Level Genesis Health Club memberships. This will give you immediate access to 37 facilities across the Midwest, including four in Wichita. An upgraded membership can be purchased to gain access to our Premier Rock Road facility and three other Platinum and Premier locations, which are located in the Kansas City area. In the coming days, you will see key staff from Genesis at the club, meeting with the current staff and chatting with members. We are excited to meet the Fitness 2000 community and welcome them to our family. Moving forward, your transition team will be located at our East Central location. I am fully committed to maintaining safe, clean, state-of-the-art facilities and can’t wait for you to come our clubs and have the full Genesis experience. I am confident you will soon find that our friendly and professional staff puts customer service at the top of their priority list. Will Fitness 2000 members be able to use multiple Genesis Health Clubs locations? Great news! At no additional charge, you will receive an immediate upgrade to a Gold-Level Genesis Membership, which will give you access to 37 Genesis Health Clubs facilities, including four right here in Wichita!

Will I still have access to a 24-hour facility? Yes! Our West Central location is a fully-staffed 24-hour facility that you may access at any time.
