Quick Start Guide: Educator

Step 1: Go to www.GlassLabGames.org Sign in with your Edmodo, iCivics, or GlassLab Games account.

Step 2: Create a Class After logging into GlassLab Games, click "Create New Class" on your Classes page.

Stay organized by using a naming convention that makes sense to you, such as "Class Period, Subject"!

Step 3: Distribute Class Code Once you have received a Class Code, give it to students when they register their account and they will automatically be enrolled in the correct class.

What is a Class Code?

The Class Code is what links students’ gameplay to the reports you’ll find and use on GlassLab Games.

Step 4: Download the Game Find SimCityEDU in the Games section. Download the game by selecting “Download” in the lower left of the page.

Step 5: Try Out the Game Yourself! Once you have downloaded and installed the game, click “Play Game” on the game page to try it out!

Step 1: Create Your Student GlassLab Games Account 1. Go to www.GlassLabGames.org. Click “Create an Account” and select “Student.”

3. Fill out the information requested and select “Register”.

Tip on choosing a screen name:

Quick Start Guide: Student

Step 2: Download the Game Once you have created your account, you will arrive at your Student Dashboard. In order to play the game, it needs to be installed on your computer. Check with your teacher to see if this has already been done for you. If not, click download.

Step 3: Play the Game! Click “Play Game” and then select the Mission you want to play. We recommend starting with “School Is In.”
