We are collecting premium pet food to benefit Jenny’s Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to the adoption of shelter dogs. We will be collecting food April 14th to April 28th. Speeches will be given during lunches for the next two days. The 7A Lady Wolves got their fourth win of the season against the Cubs yesterday! Olivia Betzen went 2 for 3 and Jaedyn Dron went 3 for 4 to contribute to the Wolves 16-2 victory. Kaia Anderson also went 1 for 2 as a slap hitter! In the field, Payton Mounce struck out 5 girls and Maiia Estrada struck out 4! Way to go Lady Wolves!! The 7B softball team is still undefeated with their 23 to 22 win over Highlands. Samantha Costar-Dunlap was our starting pitcher and went 2 for 3 at bat. Mia Kasper struck out 2 girls and went 3 for 3 at bat. Emma Hanning stepped up to pitch for the first time and struck out 3 girls. Emma also went 2 for 3. Kaylee Gintner was hit by a pitch, was walked once, and went 2 for 2. Ashley Coleman had a big double, 2 walks, and 2 RBIs. Isabella Rodriguez had a crucial double that brought in 3 runners in the last inning. Almost every player scored in the last inning, so we were able to take the lead and beat Highlands! Great job ladies!!
Sport Schedule for today The Chinook Track teams goes to Chief Joe to compete against the Warriors, Stevens Tigers and the Pioneer 49ers. Baseball A teams are at home against Garrison, and the B teams travel to McLoughlin. Sport buses leave at 2:45, all events begin at 4:00.
