PROJECT OUTPUT

The announcement will ask for expressions of interest from international organizations to form part of a consultation mechanism for the project.

The project will develop a global “Framework of Action”, consisting of a set of country-specific policies, as well as institutional and regulatory reforms, representative of international best practices that would facilitate both the improved management and good governance of groundwater at local, national, regional and transboundary levels. The Framework of Action will then develop a set of guidelines to encourage countries to adopt a broad range of policy, regulatory, institutional and economic reforms.
