[email protected] www.visitberwick.com/find-out-more FACILITIES - DROP OFF POINT & COACH PARKING On arriving in Berwick-upon-Tweed, head along Walkergare and then right onto The Parade for the Coach drop off point (see map attached). You are able to stop here for 30 minutes to drop off and pick up your group. Parking is available on the Ramparts Business Park to the North of Berwick-upon-Tweed. From The Parade continue along Church Street, then next right onto Chapel Street which brings you back onto Walkergate. Turn left and then turn right at the mini roundabout to drive through the Town Walls onto Castlegate. Follow road over mini roundabout and onto North Road to leave town. Just past Morrisons, at the large roundabout take the 4th exit into Ramparts Business Park. Bays are not marked, please park without obstructing. Cross the road for toilets and refreshments at Morrisons cafe or McDonalds. PUBLIC TOILETS & REFRESHMENTS Encourage your group to walk back along Walkergate onto Marygate. For public toilets please turn right and walk through the archway to B&M shop in the car park. Toilets are situated to the right of the Deli. Public toilets are also situated on Eastern lane and Woolmarket. Alternatively we have many town centre cafes with facilities for their customers (please see attached ‘Eating out Guide’ or www.visitberwick.com/food-drink). SHOPPING Berwick is a compact town with many of the main shopping streets held within the town walls. The twice-weekly street market is held on Marygate and at the Buttermarket behind the Town Hall (Wed and Sat). Other interesting shopping streets with local retailers include; Bridge Street, West Street, Church Street and Castlegate. There is also a retail park in Tweedmouth, Outdoors shop to the south and Berwick Garden Centre on the outskirts of town at East Ord. www.visitberwick.com/shopping
