For support, contact your Intel representative. For Windows7, download the Adobe Flash Plug-in version 11.1.102.55 from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-playerversions.html Question 7:
Is the Adobe Flash plug-in from Intel production-ready?
Answer:
Using Intel's reference platforms, Intel has worked with our System Integrator partner to test the Hardware Accelerated Adobe Flash plug-in using the same Device Certification Test Suite (DCTS) methods that Adobe will require. However, the customer must certify their own devices with Adobe.
Question 8:
Will customers be able to distribute the Flash Player plug-in within their product offerings?
Answer:
Adobe has removed restrictions on Shockwave Flash (SWF) and Flash Video (FLV/F4V) specifications only, not on the Flash Player itself. Please consult your Intel Field Representative to obtain more information on licensing and distribution requirements of the Adobe Flash plug-in for the browser.

Question 9:
Will the embedded codecs in Flash Player also be royalty-free? Do they require a separate license?
Answer:
Licensees and users of Flash Player do not need to obtain a separate license or pay codec royalties for the use of codecs when included in Flash Player. Organizations that want to employ the codecs for any use other than as part of Flash Player need to obtain the appropriate codecs from their owners, and license them as necessary.
Question 10: What environment variables need to be set for use of web browser Adobe Flash plug-in with Intel® EMGD? Answer:
None.
Question 11: Why does Flash Gaming or 3D content perform slowly on my embedded system? Answer:
Open GL-ES 2.0 and Open GL 1.3 APIs are currently not used by the Adobe Flash Player web browser plug-in to accelerate Flash Animation. The plug-in is currently using the CPU to render 3D and 3D data, and is a limitation of the current plug-in. Investigation is currently on going to accelerate 3D rendering.
Question 12: Can more than one instance of the Adobe Flash Player plug-in be hardware accelerated? Answer:
Yes, for Windows 7. However, reduced video playback performance is to be expected depending on the number of instances and workloads. On Linux, due to limitations of the Adobe Flash plug-in, only a single instance of Adobe flash video playback is currently supported with hardware acceleration.
Question 13: How does one install flash plug-in to Firefox 11.0 on MeeGo 1.2 IVI Answer:
To install flash player, run: cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so Make following edits to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file: Option "ALL/1/General/EnableRegOverride" "1" Option "ALL/1/General/DispARB" "0x00003232" Option “ALL/1/General/Xvideo” “1”
Question 14: What is Adobe's position on Flash and AIR? Answer:
For Adobe's position on Flash and AIR after their recent announcements, see the following: — http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2011/11/flash-focus.html — http://blogs.adobe.com/flex/2011/11/your-questions-about-flex.html — http://blogs.adobe.com/ktowes/
