Fast Tracking Level 2 Certificate Training
Achieving Level 2 Certificate has never been easier for our Support Workers with Geneva Health Institute of Learning! We have recently redesigned our Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 courses to make them easier and faster for Support Workers to complete. The assessments now consist of self-marking multi-choice questions only. Helping our Support Workers become more qualified is easy with access to our Moodle online learning system, followed by a physical sign off for a wide variety of competencies that recognise their unique skills.

Our Geneva family is growing stronger and extending our reach to give more services to more clients nationwide! Gains@Geneva recently acquired Adapt Therapy, expanding its services into the Manawatu, Wanganui, Horowhenua, and the Wairarapas. We have also won the new Choices in Community Living (CiCL) contract for the Hutt Valley and Southern areas. Click here to read more about our new services
Geneva Elevator is offering Training For Work, which is a 13-week course where student can earn their Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing. Students learn a range of skills needed to gain positions in Health, Home & Community Support, Aged Care, and Disability Services. Training For Work offers a mixture of classroom-based work and on the job training in both Auckland and Bay Of Plenty. The course has rolling start dates, so students can start at any time.

It was a night of James Bond glitz and glamour as more than 180 persons with disabilities celebrated their best night of the year at the annual Spring Ball, with Hon Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga, Associate Minister of Health; Simon O’Connor, MP for Tamaki; their families, their support team, and management from Geneva Healthcare.
Geneva’s Art Therapy Clients Raise Over A Thousand For Charity
How Happy Are Our Clients? Results In For Our Client Satisfaction Survey
The charity auction of artworks produced by Geneva’s Art Therapy Clients raised over a thousand dollars for the Minds for Minds Trust, a registered charity supporting an expert group of scientists who are actively seeking to unlock the cause of autism in order to help with diagnosis, and contribute to the development of innovative treatment options.
When you care from the heart, and care like family, our clients cannot help but put into words their heart-warming appreciation.

Eilish Wilkes Wins Youth Spirit Award
We conducted our Client Satisfaction Survey across all of our Homecare funding streams during June-July of this year, the survey was well responded to and shows an overall satisfaction rate as noted by our clients at 95% Any concerns raised through this process are addressed with the client, where they can be identified and learnings or improvements applied across the relevant area or divisions. The surveys include lovely feedback from clients, such as the examples below: “I am wonderfully blessed by the help I am receiving.”
It was the perfect way to cap off a wonderful year for the Geneva Elevator client, Eilish Wilkes, who was announced as the winner for the ‘Youth Spirit Award’ category at the 2016 Attitude Awards.
