Healthcare Quality Management Review Sponsored by the Ohio Association for Healthcare Quality This two-day course provides essential information on the fundamental principles and practice of healthcare quality management and related disciplines. Based on the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) examination content outline, the course includes a review of the development of the structures, systems, and strategies within an organization and implementation of procedures and processes impacting internal and external performance improvement. Target Audience: Quality Management Professionals planning to take the CPHQ examination and seeking to focus their study efforts, as well as those who want an overview/refresher of the fundamental principles and practice of healthcare quality management, will find the course helpful. (NOTE: Attendance at a review workshop does not guarantee a passing score on the CPHQ exam). Each participant will receive a set of handouts. The textbook for the course is The Healthcare Quality Handbook: A Professional Resource and Study Guide by Janet A. Brown. The textbook is not included in the cost of the program, however, when your register, please indicate if you want a textbook and you will receive at the class.
